#1Access to Transportation – Downtown Elgin has two Metra Stations including the National Street Station with ample parking and the W. Chicago Street Station ideal for pedestrian travelers, cyclists and convenient drop-offs. Both are on the Milwaukee District West Metra Line (MD-W). There is also a Pace Bus station and thousands of free public parking spaces available in both covered parking garages and open lots. Interstate 90 is about 3 miles or 10 minutes to the north and Route 20 is about 1 mile or 5 minutes to the south.
