The Elgin Poet Laureate Project alongside the Gail Borden Public Library will be sponsoring a very special Valentine’s Day celebration on Sunday, February 12 at 2 PM in the Main Library. People of all ages are welcome to create and present a poem surrounding the idea of what you love about Elgin. What does Elgin have to offer? Why is it a good place to live? What about Elgin makes you smile? Poems are asked to be at maximum 30 lines, but all are welcome to write multiple poems.
